Jhulan Goswami, one of India’s great bowlers, was born on 25 November 1982 in a middle-class family in Chakdaha town of West Bengal. In the family, his father’s name is Nitish Goswami and mother’s name is Jharna Goswami. Since childhood, Jhulan Goswami was very interested in cricket, she got this interest when she saw the 1992 Cricket World Cup. It was from here that he started making his career in cricket.

However, due to lack of any facility related to cricket in Chakdaha city, Jhulan Goswami reached Kolkata to play cricket.
